Mason
The star of the show! Mason has been in the board game hobby for over a decade, ever since he bought Catan and tried to convince the debate team to play it with him in college. He brought Michael into the hobby then, and Natasha to the hobby during lockdown in 2020. He has been an avid reader since middle school, thanks to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and has been an aspiring writer since high school, when he first began developing the world and story ideas that he is now setting out to publish.
Michael
The life of the party! Mathematician, teacher, father, amateur baker, is there anything the good doctor can’t do? Michael has long been in the hobby via RPGs, especially D&D, but joined the wider world of board gaming in college. Another fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Michael also enjoys Sci-Fi, like Ender’s Game and Ready Player One. Having developed a world and written numerous stories for his games of D&D, there is a possibility that he may try his hand at writing a novel, as well.
Natasha
The likeable one! Relatively new to the hobby, Natasha has a quickly expanding repertoire of games and attended Dice Tower West for the first time in March of 2023. Perhaps, because she has spent her career teaching children to read, she mostly enjoys YA novels, like: The Sun Is Also a Star, the American Royals, and the Graceling series. When not reading or playing Cartographers, Long Shot, Roll Player, or her latest purchase, she can be found knitting, hanging out in the pool, gardening, or attending live baseball games.
